For the past five years we have been offering an open palette style with a marquee site available overlooking the lakes.
We are now moving to the next exciting stage of our wedding plan and are currently building a bespoke wedding barn venue in our orchard.
Crafted from stone, hand cut timbers and large jarrah trusses the orchard barn will be giving our couples the option of celebrating a courtyard outdoor wedding reception or the intimate indoor wedding setting.

Packages will include access to Orchard Wedding Barn for 2 days from 9am first day to 2pm the third day. Weekend package is from 12 noon Friday to 2pm Sunday. Normal conditions for accommodation apply.
Maximum 120 wedding reception guests
Exclusive use of property. For guests booked into accommodation at Clover Cottage this includes canoeing, tennis and fishing.
Choice of ceremony site, which can be a riverside, lakeside, forest or garden location.
Numerous natural and historic photographic opportunities around the property and close by.
Terms & Conditions for Weddings at Clover Cottage as at 1/7/2019
Clover Cottage Country Retreat is a family owned and operated business. We expect our guests to treat it with the same respect they would treat their own property.
Guest and Visitors must comply with the Terms and Conditions, and instructions from the Management or Staff during their stay and must notify staff of any issues as soon as practical.
These Terms and Conditions relate to the details stated in your Booking Agreement. Your booking dates are confirmed once a deposit of a $1000 has been received.
Clover Cottage reserves the right to cancel any booking due to force majeure and all monies paid (if applicable) will be refunded.

Cancellation / Change of dates
Cancellations will incur a $500 admin fee if written notice is provided 6 months prior to the wedding date. If less than 6 months notice of cancellation is provided the full deposit will be non refundable.
There will be a preauthorised security bond of $1000 taken on the day of check-in. If there are any breakages or damage to property or items belonging to Clover Cottage, we will advise of the costs, and then charge that cost to your credit card. Please note, you are responsible for all guests to the property during your booking period.
To ensure exclusivity of the property all cottages must be booked by the wedding group or guests for a minimum of 2 nights.
Check in time to the cottage is from 2pm, unless prior arrangements have been made. Guests staying in the cottages must match bookings made for each cottage for correct nights. Check out time for cottages is 10am on day of departure.
Please ensure your guests are made aware to book their accommodation early. We do not allow camping on the grounds. There is a caravan park at Quinninup 6km from Clover Cottage.
We do not allow people to sleep in their cars on the property.
Responsibility for Guests and Conduct
Clover Cottage does not accept responsibility for damage to or loss of any client and guest property, including gifts left on the premises prior to, during or following a wedding or stay. Any damage caused by guests will be the financial responsibility of the organiser/booker and the costs associated with repairs or cleaning will be charged accordingly.
The duty of care to all clients and guests regarding the responsible service of alcohol is the responsibility of the wedding organiser/booker. You must abide by the responsible service of alcohol laws. At no time will the organiser/booker commit any act or permit its employees, agents or invitees to commit any act laws, regulations, or any law, included
Check out time for wedding grounds is 2pm on day of departure. The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. All rubbish should be placed in bins provided outside.
Please ensure all furnishing, kitchenware and barbeques are returned to their original location. The property is inspected after each stay. There will be a charge for any damaged or missing items.
Early check in and late checkout may be available on request. Check in and check out times may change up to 7 days before your arrival to allow for cleaning and or necessary maintenance.
Smoking is not permitted in accommodation or around the property. Smoking is permitted on cottage verandahs. Cigarette butts must be placed in designated disposal containers.
Property Access and Venue Setup
To allow sufficient time to setup your booked venue, access to Clover Cottage property will be allowed from 9am to 5pm 2 days prior to your event (where possible). I.e. if your wedding is on the Saturday, access will be on the Thursday. Please ensure you bring any necessary equipment, i.e. ladders, extension cords, cable ties etc. for decorating purposes.
The venue or its furniture is not to be used for other parties/functions unless preauthorised. (Additional costs may apply).
Venue and Furnishings
The reception venue and ceremony area are rented as an empty space ie. ‘a blank canvas’ Discuss with the managers beforehand regarding use of any ‘Clover Cottage” facilities or furniture on the property.
Edith, the donkey, will endeavour to be available for photographs, but cannot be guaranteed. Please discuss with Petrina the day before how and when you would like Edith the donkey involved in the wedding photos. Flowers will need to be provided on the day for decoration.
To preserve the grassed area, dancing is only allowed on a purpose built dance floor.
It is the responsibility of the wedding group to provide toilets for the wedding guests. Recommended toilets needed is 1 toilet for 50 guests. Cottage toilets are only for the guests booked into the cottage.
Your booked venue has a curfew of midnight. All music must be off by 12.00 am and guests who are not booked into Clover Cottage Retreat accommodation must leave the property by no later than 12-30 am.
We recommend organising a bus to collect guests and deliver them to their accommodation/home.
Decorating / Confetti
You can decorate as much or as little as you want. Hanging items from the ceiling, on the deck or from trees is allowed, as long as sensible installation is used to avoid damage to property and trees. Please bring cable ties, string, fishing line etc for your decorations. All must be completely removed after your function.
Clover Cottage has a standard no pet policy unless prior approval is given.
Even though we are on a large property, noise travels easily. Guests and visitors must not create noise which is offensive to neighbouring properties, especially between midnight - 7am. Please show respect.
Cars must be parked in the designated parking areas and not on the grassed areas.
Safe lighting will be provided to give guests access to their vehicles.
We cannot accept responsibility for anything left behind, lost or damaged during your visit, although all reasonable care will be taken.
Please do not light any fires on the property grounds other than in the designated fire pit area (dependent on conditions and fire bans). Prior approval is needed to use the large fire pit.
On the day
A designated person or wedding coordinator needs to be available to communicate and attend on the day to co-ordinate with third party suppliers (e.g. caterers and musicians) and ensure wedding facilities are set up and working correctly until the commencement of the evening reception.
Clover Cottage Retreat is not licensed to sell alcohol. All alcohol must be provided by you. This also means that you are responsible for your guests and their transportation home after the function. As part of this agreement, you are required to organise bar staff with RSA certificate.
Fishing and Swimming
Swimming or fishing in the lakes is not permitted during weddings and events.
Children/babies are welcome at our venue but are the full responsibility of their parents/carers. Please be aware that, as we are in the country, there are many unfenced dams and water hazards on the property, and there are also snakes and spiders etc.
To enable your guests to enjoy your big day, it is recommended to hire a babysitter for the reception.
Recovery Party / Post-wedding BBQ
Post Wedding events can be held the following day. Depending on the size of the function, this may incur an excess cleaning charge. Please discuss this with the Manager prior to your arrival.
Cleanup after function
As a DIY venue, the setup, pack down and basic clean-up of the event is your responsibility unless stated in your package. Anything you have requested/hired i.e. chairs, tables, bar and wine barrels etc. will be left for you to set up, and all items should be left clean and packed up neatly. Regardless of your checkout date, all functions are to be packed down and areas thoroughly cleaned up by 2pm the day after the function.
It is your responsibility to remove all decorations, broken glass, excess mess (i.e. glitter, loose hay, cigarette butts etc.) and pack all rubbish into bins/bags.
As this is a DIY venue, you can bring in a trailer to dispose of excess rubbish from the wedding function or arrange with Paul use of the ‘on site’ skip bin. A cost will incur depending on function size.
