What a beautiful location. So peaceful and such a great place to get away from civilisation for a few days. Managed to catch a couple of trout which was fun. A few places to check out while you are down this way: The Wine and Truffle Company. Food was amazing . Also Jarrah Jacks in PEmberton. Top notch beers, food and service. Nothing better than being able to fish throughout the the morning. Visit wineries/restaurant throughout the day and then getting cosy by the fireside with a bottle of shiraz. Sensational place.

We have spent a month in the truly most relaxing beautiful place. We came here to celebrate Ray’s 70th birthday and it was perfect. We sighted over 30 different bird species and also lots of babies just out of the nest, what a wonderful sight to see! It was good to catch up with Floyd, Olive, Plonky, Edith ( donkeys) and Max (alpaca) We were very sad at the passing of Max’s Mum, Magenta. But we smiled again after seeing Max after his first haricut. Even the donkey’s didn’t recognise him! Poor little Max! Thank you PAul and Petrina for Ray’s Birthday treeat! You both make staying at Clover Cottages very special. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday!

Our first family holiday in a long time lead us to this amazing place. We all found something that we loved the best. Olivia’s favourite were clearly the donkeys and she wanted to feed them all the time. Emily loved the wood fire and Ben loved the donkeys and the chooks. Nicole loved the tranquility and the beautiful scenery. Tom’s favourite part was the fly fishing lesson for fishing trout. We all loved everything and enjoyed our stay very much.

Our first visit to Clover Cottages and the place is amazing! The drive towards the entrance set the scenery already for what is a tranquil place. tThe warm and inviting welcome was very well received (by us and from the owners and all the animals!) The kids had a wonderful time feeding and patting the animals and wandering around the property. The surroundings are beautiful. The tranquility ( including not having phone service) is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the city.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay. I loved all the pretty birds everywhere especially the blue wrens. Hubby enjoyed fishing, although he only caught one, which jumped off the hook just as he got it to the bank. I wish we could stay forever, it is such a beautiful place.

What a beautiful place- the peace, the silence, the 2 dear donkeys, warm fire at night, the smell of fresh bread to welcome us when we arrived, the bird life, balm to the soul. A wonderful spot for two weary grandparents, to recharge their batteries.

What a wonderful place. We are buying a bread maker in Perth. Our first weekend away in 3 years without the kids. Had no luck fishing, but the scenery, hospitality and river were amazing. Its so nice having any phones. What a world away!!

We had a lovely 3 night stay to celebrate my 30th Birthday. I was proposed to also, so Clover Cottage will always be a special place for us.

Great stay, everything clean. Paul was very helpful with fishing information. Nothing to complain about (bread machine didn’t work, but didn’t matter!) We only caught 1 trout in lower lake. Went to trophy lake, but no luck! Maybe it’s not the tools, but the fishing man!!!! We will be back in September. VERY satisfied with accommodation.
