We had a wonderful weekend.. It was wonderful having breakfast out on the balcony.  Here are some of the birds we saw on the block over the weekend.

Wood duck, White faced heron striped(?) pardolote, spotted pardolote, red winged wren, splendid wren, yellow rumped  thornbills, western garygone,red wattle bird, western spine bill, New Holland Honeyeater, Brown Goshawk, Australian Magpie, Western Rosella, Ring Necked Parrot,Tawny Frogmouth, Willy Wagtail, Australian Raven, Australian Reed-Warbler, Shining Bronze Cuckoo,Silver eye.

OMG- What can we say .  From the smell of the freshly baked bread when we walked in the front door to the fantastic views when we walked out onto the balcony.  This was our first time here and certainly won’t be the last.  The cottages are a beautiful away from home place.  Peace and quiet is what the doctor ordered and we found that here.  Having breakfast on the balcony with the blu wrens and the fire at night are our 2 favourites.

Awesome place.  I got two nights for my birthday as a special treat  and it was that and more!  I caught 8 rainbow trout here ( well, 5 here and 3 on the trophy lake)  7 on fly and 1 on a lure!! My partner and I had a relaxing time.

We would  both recommend to everyone!!!   Well.. not too many people – as we wouldn’t want this great little secret getting out to too many people.  All the best

We loved our stay!  And enjoyed the animals and birds we saw.  Unfortunately we didn’t catch any fish.  The grass court was fun!

AMAZING!  as always.   Loved the animals.  Caught a HUGE trout and Dad caught a little one.  Still not getting bored.  Can’t wait to come back.  Going to be sad to leave.  THANK YOU!

Beautiful and relaxing place.  Cottages are great.  We had a wonderful 3 days away from work and uni.  I love the place!  Thank you for the fresh bread.  We have enjoyed the quiet nights with glasses of red wine.

This place is absolutely amazing!  Even for a young fella as i am.  It was well worth the drive for a truly amazing getaway.  Dad caught the fish, not me, but I didn’t stop trying.  Yet still no luck.  Will definitely be here again in the future!  Thank you for the warm welcome.  Felt like home.  Floyd = greatness.

Seven times we have stayed at this magnificent place.  We have watched Floyd grow from a puppy to a loveable dog.  The goats and donkeys are a treat to pat and feed.  This time it was all about recharging our bodies with the pure relaxation you get from fresh air and the lovely sounds of the surrounds.  Health permitting, we will return next year.

Clover Cottage turned out to be a gem.  The quiet and beautiful surroundings provided an atmosphere of rural peace that refreshed the soul.  The occupants of cottages 1 and 2, Johan, Laurien, Chris, Jeanne, Christof, Jacques, Janet and Chris will take back happy memories.

Clover Cottage was so so good  I had so much fun.  Peter caught 3 fish in 3 days and he watched so many fish movies.  We went on a river walk.  How I wished I lived here.  Cold water and warm sun

I would like to have written something witty and memorable, but I’m too relaxed, it’s a wonderful feeling!  Hope by the end of your break, you will feel the same!!
