Cherry Festival in the Southern Forest

The weekend of December 11th and 12th means a celebration of the harvesting of cherries and the  gathering of friends and family at Clover Cottage to coincide with the Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival 2010.

Although our cherry trees at Clover Cottage are not as fruitful as  other Manjimup and Pemberton  orchards, we are still going to have a special celebration for  good friends and family with a long table lunch in our  historic orchard.

Leading up to the lunch everyone will be kept entertained with foodstalls, cooking demonstrations during the day on Saturday followed by a family concert and picnic at the Timber Park on Saturday night.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Sarah and Shane  recently  tied the knot down at Clover Cottage in the small  historic church close by.

The  church was built with handfired bricks  in 1880 by the same builder who built Clover Cottage in 1875 and  is nestled down in the forest valley  not far from Clover Cottage which is near Pemberton  in the South west of  WA.
