Superb Local Food and Wine From Southwest Food Bowl

 

The fruit and vegetable displays showcased persimmons, chestnuts, kale as well the large variety of fruit and vegetables grown in Manjimup and Pemberton area.

In spite of the welcome wet weather, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the good wine, food and views of  historic Fonty Pool.

In the evening  dinner guests enjoyed a sumptious degustation meal  which was prepared   with the local produce.  even the table centre pieces were edible!

 

Peos winery was one of many excellent wineries which  were offering wine tastings and bottle sales.

  

Of course, everyone enjoyed a variety of food cooked in truffle oil, salt or truffle mustard. 

It was a day enjoyed by all.  Good company, good food, good wine in a gorgeous location.  And best of all… it also was raining !!!!
